Dr. Andrew Newnam is a physical therapist who is PWR!Moves Certified. He bring a diverse background in both inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings. He is committed to maximizing patient outcomes for people diagnosed with neurologic conditions in an in home setting.
Dr. Andrew comes to us as a native of North Carolina where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from ECU. He has served as an Adjunct Faculty member at East Carolina University’s Physical Therapy Department, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of physical therapists. Dr. Andrew is caring and engaging, which facilitates positive interactions with his patients and coworkers.

Dr. Da'Rell Andrews is a physical therapist with a strong background in neurologic rehabilitation. He brings valuable experience from inpatient hospital settings, including intensive care, brain injury rehab, and stroke rehab. He is passionate about delivering personalized care that helps individuals with neurologic conditions improve their mobility, independence, and quality of life at home.
Dr. Da'Rell earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Duke University School of Medicine. He has worked with a wide range of patients, including those recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and ALS. His thoughtful approach and dedication to clinical excellence have earned him multiple awards during his time at WakeMed Rehab Hospital’s Brain Injury Unit. Dr. Da'Rell has a calm and encouraging presence, which helps patients feel supported and motivated throughout their recovery journey.

Alison is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with 18 years of clinical expertise specializing in complex neurological recovery. She brings a high-level background from world-renowned institutions, including the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab and UNC Health Care. Alison is passionate about providing client-centered care that helps individuals with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and stroke regain their independence and quality of life within their own environments.
Alison has a long history of clinical leadership, she served as the Chair of the Spinal Cord Injury Taskforce at UNC and has mentored numerous students and burn fellowship residents. She excels at problem-solving and refining treatment plans to ensure the most efficient and effective outcomes for her patients.

Sarah is the Office Manager for Neuro Nation Physical Therapy & Wellness and a current Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Elon University. With previous experience as a Fitness Director and Personal Trainer, Sarah brings a strong background in client communication, scheduling, and administrative organization.
She has led training teams, managed marketing efforts, coordinated patient follow-ups, and supported busy wellness operations skills that translate seamlessly into the needs of a mobile neurological physical therapy practice.
Sarah is especially interested in the entrepreneurial and practice-management side of PT, including hybrid cash/insurance models that support greater access to care. She is excited to contribute to Neuro Nation PT’s mission while gaining hands-on experience in real-world practice operations.
